1. Introduction

The department was established under the decision 52-QD/DHTN-TCCB dated January 13, 2006 by the rector of Tay Nguyen University. The department was established on the basis of the previous Board of Training Inspection.

2. The staff: The department's staff includes 05 members: 01 Head, 01 Deputy Head, 03 officials. Additionally, the department is supplemented with 08 officials from other units who work concurrently in their own departments and the Department of Inspection

3. Function and responsibilities:

- Function: The Department acts as counselor for the rector on inspection tasks within the rector's scope of management in order to ensure the execution of laws, performance of state assignments, and legal rights and benefits of individuals and organizations in educational fields. 

- Responsibility: The Department takes responsibility for inspecting the implementation of educational policies and law, performance of educational objectives, practice of curriculum, contents and educational methodology, practice of training and examination regulations, granting of degrees and certificates, and the implementation of the regulations on the management of finance, properties, scientific technology, human resource and essential conditions to ensure the university's educational quality.

1. Introduction

The Department of Planning and Finance was established in parallel with the foundation of the University (November 11, 1977)

2. The staff: The department's staff currently consists of 13 members, including 01 Head, 01 Deputy Heads and 11 officials

3. Function and responsibilities:

- Function: The department acts as counselor for the rector on the university's planning and finance matter. The department's operation is under the professional direction of the superior financial authorities and under the rector's direct guidelines on finance and accounting which include financial management and budget distribution, supervision of financial use, payment and account balancing in accordance with the regulations on the state's financial management.

- Responsibilities: The Department of Planning - Finance is responsible for 3 fundamental tasks including setting up plans and managing the use of the budget, supervising the university's incomes and expenditure, paying salaries and granting scholarships.

1. Introduction

The Department of Facility Administration was founded under the Decision 655/QD-TCCB dated April 21, 2003 by the rector of Tay Nguyen University

2. The staff: The department's staff consists of 18 members including 01 Head, 02 Deputy Head, 05 officials, and 10 employees.

3. Function and responsibilities:

- Function: the department acts as counselor for the rector on the management and use of facilities repair of the university's public constructions, purchase of equipment, and monitoring the efficient use of the university's properties for teaching, learning, scientific research, and other activities.

- Responsibility: the department is responsible for setting up plans for construction, repair and equipment serving the management, teaching and learning, and other activities such as setting up plans for investment projects; designing, constructing, supervising, checking and handing over construction work and equipment conforming to the current regulations.

1. Introduction

The Department of Assessment and Educational Quality Assurance was established under the decision 266/QD-DHTN-TCCB dated March 16, 2011.

2. The staff:  Up to July 2012 the total number of the department’s staff was 7 including 01 Head, 01 Deputy Head, and 05 employees (03 of the staff member holds MA degrees).

3. Function and responsibilities: The department is responsible for:

- Setting up the university's examination schedules based on the approved plans.

- Receiving, preserving and making copies of the examinations in accordance with the regulations and security regime.

- Performing tasks relating to examination organization which include preparing the list of students' name corresponding to rooms, making photocopies of examinations, assigning proctors, delivering and receiving test papers before and after they are marked, uploading marks on the website and providing transcripts for concerned parties.

- Preserving documents relating to examination tasks in accordance with regulations.

- Providing support for such examinations as entrance exams, final exams, recruitment exams,etc.

- Recommending measures to improve testing and assessment, which will help enhance training quality.

- Frequently performing auditing tasks on the university's educational quality control.
